Arke was a prominent Dutch travel brand founded in 1934 by Frits Arke and Jan ten Napel. Originally established as a bus company and travel agency in Enschede, the Netherlands, it grew to become one of the largest tour operators in the country. Over decades, Arke became synonymous with package holidays and eventually operated its own airline, ArkeFly.
In contemporary years, the brand underwent a significant transition. After becoming part of the TUI Group (formerly TUI AG), the Arke brand name was phased out in 2015 as part of a global rebranding strategy. It was officially rebranded to TUI Netherlands. Today, while the legacy of Arke remains a significant part of Dutch aviation and tourism history, the operations, aircraft, and travel agencies are fully integrated into the German-based TUI Group, which is the world's leading tourism business.
