The brand was founded in Spain by Katia Simone and her partners to bridge African natural ingredients with European cosmetic standards. While the raw material is sourced and traditionally processed in Africa, the brand is managed and distributed from its headquarters in Seville, Spain. AOK Labs is currently owned by its founders through the company African Original Kosmetics S.L.
