Fischer Tradition beer

Fischer is a historic French beer brand originating from the Alsace region. Originally founded in 1821 in Strasbourg, the brewery became famous for its traditional brewing methods and its iconic Fischer Tradition lager. The brand is easily recognizable by its logo featuring a young Alsatian boy (le petit bonhomme Fischer) sitting on a beer barrel and drinking from a mug.

Over the decades, Fischer grew to become one of the most prominent names in French brewing. While it started as an independent family enterprise, it was acquired by Heineken in 1996. Today, while the original Schiltigheim brewery has seen changes, the Fischer brand remains a key part of the French beer market. It is primarily brewed in France under the supervision of Heineken's French subsidiary, maintaining its regional Alsatian identity while benefiting from the global distribution network of its Dutch parent company.
