Evian water

Evian is a globally recognized brand of natural mineral water sourced from several curves near Évian-les-Bains, on the south shore of Lake Geneva. The water is unique for its mineral composition, which is acquired through a natural filtration process spanning over 15 years as it trickles through glacial sands in the French Alps.

The history of Evian dates back to 1789 when the Marquis de Lessert discovered the water during a walk. Scientific analysis soon followed, confirming its health benefits, and by 1826, the first bottling facility was established. Today, the brand remains a symbol of luxury and purity, celebrating over 200 years of history.

Evian is exclusively bottled at the Source Cachat in Évian-les-Bains, France. It is owned by the French multinational food-products corporation Danone. As one of Danone's flagship brands, Evian is distributed internationally, maintaining a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and carbon neutrality.
