Winston is a premier American brand of cigarettes, currently owned and manufactured by ITG Brands, a subsidiary of Imperial Tobacco in the United States, and by Japan Tobacco International (JTI) outside of the U.S. The brand was first introduced in 1954 by the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, which named the brand after the town where it was headquartered: Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Today, Winston is one of the world's best-selling cigarette brands. While it originated in the United States, its global footprint is managed by Japan Tobacco Inc. following their acquisition of the international rights in 1999. Manufacturing occurs in numerous facilities worldwide to serve different regional markets, with European versions often produced in locations like Germany, Poland, or Switzerland depending on the specific supply chain for the local market.
