Bodegas Franco-Españolas Rioja Reserva Red Wine

Bodegas Franco-Españolas is a historic winery located in Logroño, within the prestigious Rioja region of Spain. Founded in 1890, the winery emerged as a collaboration between French winemakers fleeing the phylloxera plague in France and Spanish partners, blending traditional French techniques with exceptional Spanish terroir.

The wine is produced and bottled entirely in Spain, following strict regulations for the Rioja Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa). It is aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels before release. Today, the winery remains an independent entity owned by the Eguizábal family, who acquired it in 1984 and have continued to maintain its status as one of the iconic 'Cathedral' wineries of the region.
