Reissdorf Koelsch is a traditional top-fermented beer specialty originating from Cologne, Germany. It is one of the most prominent brands carrying the 'Koelsch' designation, which is protected by the Koelsch Convention and European law, ensuring it can only be brewed within the Cologne region.

The history of the brewery dates back to 1894 when Heinrich Reissdorf founded it in the Severinsviertel district. Despite the heavy destruction of its facilities during World War II, the family successfully rebuilt the business and maintained its independent status. Today, it remains a quintessential symbol of Cologne's drinking culture.

Ownership of the brand has remained strictly within the founding family. The brewery, officially known as Privat-Brauerei Heinrich Reissdorf GmbH & Co. KG, is a family-owned enterprise. It operates modern brewing facilities in the Rodenkirchen district of Cologne, continuing the legacy of producing its signature light, crisp, and slightly hoppy beer for both local and international markets while maintaining traditional brewing standards.
