Baygon insecticide spray

Baygon is a globally recognized brand of insecticide products, originally developed by the German chemical giant Bayer in 1975. The brand became synonymous with domestic pest control, particularly in Southeast Asia and Latin America, through its effective aerosol spray formulations designed to eliminate mosquitoes, ants, and cockroaches.

In 2003, S.C. Johnson & Son, an American multinational privately held manufacturer of household cleaning supplies and consumer chemicals, acquired the Baygon brand from Bayer. Since then, Baygon has been part of S.C. Johnson's extensive portfolio of household brands. While the brand has German roots, its current ultimate ownership is firmly established in the United States. Manufacturing occurs in numerous regional facilities across the globe to serve local markets, with major production hubs in countries like Thailand, Indonesia, and the United States.
