T2 New York Breakfast Tea

T2 is a highly recognizable Australian tea brand known for its vibrant packaging and artisanal blends. Originally founded in Melbourne, the brand's 'New York Breakfast' is a signature black tea flavored with cinnamon and vanilla. While the tea leaves are responsibly sourced from diverse global locations (often including Sri Lanka, China, or India), the final blending and retail distribution are managed through their Australian-founded framework.

Following its rapid success in the specialty tea market, T2 was acquired by the multinational Unilever in 2013. However, in 2021/2022, Unilever sold its global tea division, including T2, to CVC Capital Partners. Today, the brand is part of the 'Liptea' business (formerly Ekaterra), which is the largest tea company in the world, maintaining T2's unique brand identity and global footprint.
