Schneider Helles beer

Schneider Helles is a traditional Bavarian lager produced by the Landbrauerei Georg Schneider & Sohn. Famous for its deep roots in Bavarian brewing culture, this specific Helles lager represents the classic, drinkable, and mild style of southern Germany. The brewery was established by Georg Schneider I, who is credited with saving the traditions of wheat beer brewing in Bavaria during the 19th century.

To this day, the brewery remains an independent, family-owned establishment. Unlike many major German brands that have been acquired by multinational conglomerates, Schneider & Sohn continues to be led by the sixth generation of the Schneider family. All production takes place at their historic site in Kelheim, Bavaria, ensuring authentic regional quality and adherence to traditional brewing methods.
