Meurisse Chocolate

Meurisse is Belgium's oldest chocolate brand, originally founded in 1845 by Adolphe Meurisse in Antwerp. The brand is renowned for its pioneering role in the Belgian chocolate industry, having been a purveyor to the Royal Court of Belgium.

After a period of being part of larger multinational conglomerates like Kraft Foods (now Mondelez), the brand was successfully relaunched as an independent entity by the sixth generation of the Meurisse family. Today, the products are manufactured in Belgium, staying true to their heritage of craftsmanship and high-quality ingredients. The brand is currently owned by Meurisse Chocolate NV, maintaining its status as a family-led Belgian enterprise headquartered in Antwerp.
