KiMs is a prominent Danish snack brand that has become a household name since its inception in the 1960s. These roasted sea salt almonds are part of their popular nut assortment. Originally established by the Danish company Dansk Popcorn Fabrik, the brand was named after 'Kim', a name perceived as easy to remember and market.

Today, KiMs is manufactured in Denmark, specifically at their large production facility in Søndersø. Although originally a Danish invention, the brand is currently owned by Orkla, a leading Norwegian industrial conglomerate. Orkla operates the brand through its Danish subsidiary, KiMs A/S, ensuring that while the ultimate ownership is Norwegian, the production and brand identity remain deeply rooted in Danish food culture.
