KEF Q Series Bookshelf Speakers

KEF is a premium British high-fidelity audio brand founded in 1961 by Raymond Cooke. The speakers shown in the image are part of the Q Series, recognizable by their signature Uni-Q driver array. While KEF's high-end Reference and Blade series are often still assembled in the UK, the consumer Q Series is primarily manufactured in China at KEF's own production facilities.

Since 1992, KEF has been owned by Gold Peak Technology Group (formerly GP Industries), a Hong Kong-based multinational corporation. This acquisition allowed KEF to maintain its British engineering roots while leveraging global manufacturing and distribution networks. Through 2026 and beyond, the brand continues to lead in acoustic innovation from its historic headquarters in Maidstone, Kent, UK.
