Casmir is a famous fragrance first launched by the luxury Swiss house Chopard in 1992. The scent, known for its warm oriental notes, was originally created by perfumer Michel Almairac. Although Chopard is a brand of Swiss origin deeply rooted in luxury jewelry and watchmaking, their fragrances are manufactured in France, the heart of the global perfume industry.

The licensing for Chopard fragrances has changed over the years; it was previously held by Coty but was brought back in-house under Chopard's own management for a period before entering various distribution partnerships. As of 2024 and beyond, Chopard's fragrance line is managed through a strategic partnership with the luxury fragrance company Give Back Beauty to expand its reach globally while maintaining the brand's high-end Swiss heritage.
