SPAR Sardines in Olive Oil is a private label product sold by international retail chain SPAR. The brand was originally founded in the Netherlands in 1932 by Adriaan van Well as 'DE SPAR'.

Today, SPAR functions under a voluntary federated model where independent wholesalers and retailers operate under the SPAR name. For the Spanish and Portuguese markets, many of their canned fish products are manufactured in Morocco, a leading global exporter of sardines. Ownership of the brand remains under SPAR International, based in Amsterdam, which oversees the global network and licensing of the identity across more than 48 countries.
