Dormisch is an Italian beer brand with deep historical roots, originally founded in 1881 by Francesco Dormisch in Resiutta, in the Udine province. Over the decades, it became a symbol of Friulian brewing quality, known for its light, crisp character. The brand has seen several transitions in ownership throughout the 20th century.

Today, Dormisch is owned by Birra Peroni, which was acquired by the Japanese conglomerate Asahi Group Holdings in 2016. While the brand maintains its northern Italian identity and is produced within Italy to ensure local quality and heritage, the ultimate ownership resides in Japan. This alignment allows the brand to benefit from global distribution expertise while preserving its traditional Italian brewing legacy.
