Madrí Excepcional is a unique collaboration between Molson Coors and La Sagra Brewery. Launched initially in the UK in 2020, the brand was designed to capture the 'Soul of Madrid' while being tailored for the British market. The 'Limón' variant is a Mediterranean-style lager infused with lemon, offering a refreshing citrus twist on the classic lager profile.

While the brand celebrates Spanish culture and heritage through its branding—featuring the iconic 'Chulapo' figure—it is primarily brewed in the United Kingdom by Molson Coors at their facilities in Tadcaster and Burton-on-Trent. This strategic production allows for high-quality distribution across its primary market while maintaining the authentic Spanish recipe co-developed with Carlos García, the founder of La Sagra.

Ownership of the brand is held by Molson Coors Beverage Company, a global powerhouse in the brewing industry. The partnership combines the craft expertise of the Toledo-based La Sagra brewery with the industrial scale and distribution network of Molson Coors, making it one of the most successful premium lager launches in recent UK history.
