After the original production ceased in 1974, the brand was relaunched in 2009 by Lotte Steffensen with a focus on maintaining the authentic Danish heritage and craftsmanship.

Today, Hoptimist is part of the LindDNA group, following its acquisition in early 2024. The figures are primarily manufactured in Denmark, ensuring high-quality standards and historical continuity. The brand continues to expand globally, offering a wide range of materials from plastic to wood and chrome, while remaining a symbol of Danish creativity and positive industrial design.
