The brand was founded by brothers Hussein, Mohammed, and Ahmad Hassoun, who are of Palestinian descent and based in Malmö, Sweden. The initiative was born out of a desire to provide a beverage alternative that supports humanitarian causes, with the company pledging to donate its profits to projects focused on helping Palestinians, particularly in Gaza and the West Bank.

Since its inception, the brand has seen rapid growth across Europe and beyond, positioning itself as a social project as much as a commercial one.
