Brøndum Snaps is one of Denmark's oldest and most iconic aquavit brands. Its history dates back to 1840 when it was first introduced by Anthon Brøndum at his distillery in Aarhus. The brand is particularly famous for its 'Brøndum Klar' and 'Brøndum Kummen' variants, which have been staples of Danish lunch tables and traditional festivities for generations.

The manufacturing remains rooted in Scandinavia, primarily in Denmark, adhering to traditional distillation methods that define the clear, spiced profile of the spirit. While it was once an independent distillery, it eventually became part of the larger Danish spirit Consolidation.

Today, Brøndum is owned by the Finnish company Anora Group, which was formed through the merger of Altia and Arcus. This makes the brand part of a major Nordic spirits portfolio, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, while maintaining its distinct Danish heritage and flavor profile.
