Andersson is a private label brand primarily known in the Nordic region, particularly Sweden. It is a home-grown brand established by the Swedish retail giant NetOnNet. The brand aims to offer consumer electronics and home appliances that balance functionality with value-driven pricing, competing with global tech giants through direct sourcing and regional distribution.
While the brand origin is Swedish, the manufacturing is outsourced to large-scale electronics manufacturers. A significant portion of Andersson's television lineup is produced by the Turkish company Vestel, one of the world's largest TV manufacturers, which handles production for many private labels and regional brands across Europe. Others may be produced in specialized factories in China.
The brand is currently owned by the NetOnNet Group, which merged with the Norwegian retail group Komplett ASA in 2022. This merger joined two of the largest e-commerce players in the Nordics, positioning the brand under a robust corporate umbrella headquartered in Norway. Despite the Norwegian ultimate ownership, NetOnNet maintains its strong Swedish operational identity.
