Żubr Lager Beer

Żubr is one of Poland's most recognizable beer brands, with roots tracing back to the Dojlidy Brewery in Białystok, which was established in 1768. The brand is famously characterized by the bison ('żubr') on its packaging, symbolizing the primeval Białowieża Forest. It is traditionally brewed in Poland at the Kompania Piwowarska facilities, which are some of the most modern brewing sites in Europe.

While the brand is deeply rooted in Polish heritage and culture, its modern ownership has transitioned through major international beer conglomerates. Today, the brand is part of Kompania Piwowarska, which is a subsidiary of Asahi Group Holdings, a leading Japanese beverage company. Asahi acquired regional European operations from AB InBev in 2017, effectively becoming the ultimate owner of this iconic Polish lager.
