Landwer Black Coffee

Landwer Coffee is a premium brand with a heritage dating back to 1919. The company was founded by Moshe Landwer in Berlin, Germany, as a small family roastery. Due to the historical climate in Europe, the family moved to Israel in 1933 and re-established the business in Tel Aviv, making it Israel's first coffee roastery.

The product shown is their signature ground Turkish coffee, known locally as 'Kafe Shahor' (Black Coffee). While the green coffee beans are sourced globally from regions like South America and Africa, the roasting, grinding, and packaging primarily take place in the company's manufacturing facility in Holon, Israel, to ensure maximum freshness for the local market.

Today, Landwer is owned by Federun, a family-owned Israeli conglomerate. The brand maintains its status as an iconic part of Middle Eastern coffee culture, expanding beyond retail products into a successful chain of Landwer Cafes both in Israel and North America.
