Cremo Pilot and Choco Crush ice cream

Cremo is a long-standing and well-known ice cream brand that originated in Thailand. It was founded by Chomthana Co., Ltd., which became one of the leading manufacturers of frozen treats in the Southeast Asian region, known for producing a wide variety of sticks, cones, and tubs such as the Pilot and Choco Crush products shown.

In 2018, the brand underwent a significant transition in ownership when Chomthana was acquired by the Yili Group, a major Chinese state-owned enterprise and one of the world's largest dairy companies. This acquisition allowed the Cremo brand to expand its distribution and leverage Yili's extensive resources in food technology and logistics.

Today, Cremo products continue to be manufactured primarily in Thailand at the Chomthana facility in Pathum Thani. The brand remains a household name in Thai markets while also being exported to other countries across Asia and Oceania, operating as a key subsidiary under the Yili Group's international portfolio.
