Té Hatsu is a prominent Colombian brand known for its premium positioning in the beverage market. The product shown is a herbal or tea infusion packaged in 1.3g teabags, specifically produced for the Colombian market and often distributed through high-volume retailers like D1.
Originally founded in Medellín, Colombia, by entrepreneurs Alejandro Posada and Julián Téllez under their company Hatsu Beverages S.A.S., the brand achieved significant local success through its minimalist aesthetic and diverse flavor profiles. In 2016, the brand was acquired by Postobón S.A., one of Colombia's largest beverage corporations. Postobón is a key subsidiary of the Ardila Lülle Organization (Organización Ardila Lülle), a massive multi-sector conglomerate that remains the ultimate owner. The manufacturing is carried out by Agrícola Himalaya S.A., a specialized tea producer based in Valle del Cauca, Colombia, known for managing the Bitaco tea estates.
