Jelling Musikfestival 2026

Jelling Musikfestival is a major annual music event held in the historic town of Jelling, Denmark. Since its inception in 1989, it has grown from a local gathering into one of Denmark's largest music festivals, known for its mix of international headliners and popular Danish artists across multiple stages.

The festival is organized as a non-profit venture by the foundation Festivalfonden af 2006 (and its associated association Festivalforeningen). As a non-profit entity, the surplus from the festival is donated to local sports, culture, and community projects. The event relies heavily on a dedicated force of thousands of volunteers. The 2026 edition, scheduled for May 21–24, continues this tradition of community-driven cultural celebration, managed by a professional staff and an elected board of directors from the local community.
