Olpran Culex bicycle

Olpran is a prominent Czech bicycle brand founded in 1991 by Jaroslav Luňák in Olomouc. The brand initially focused on high-quality racing bicycles and sponsored professional teams, but it later shifted its strategic focus toward the mass market, producing affordable recreational bikes for general consumers and major retail chains.

In 2008, the company established a significant manufacturing presence by opening a state-of-the-art production facility in Hořice v Podkrkonoší. This plant is recognized as one of the most modern bicycle assembly facilities in Central Europe, with a high production capacity that serves both the Olpran brand and external B2B partners. In 2023, the brand further expanded its portfolio by acquiring the Czech bicycle brand Levit. Today, Olpran remains a family-owned entity and continues to be a staple in the European cycling market, particularly for entry-level and recreational mountain and city bikes.
