Harald Melken Milk Chocolate

Harald is a renowned Brazilian brand with a history dating back to 1888, when German immigrant Franz Neugebauer founded a confectionery business in Porto Alegre. The brand Harald was officially established in 1982 by the third generation of the Neugebauer family, focusing on providing high-quality chocolate and toppings for the professional confectionery and food industry.

In 2015, the Japanese food giant Fuji Oil Group acquired a majority stake (83.3%) in Harald Indústria e Comércio de Alimentos Ltda. to strengthen its position in the Latin American market. Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Brazil, specifically in Santana de Parnaíba, São Paulo. The Melken line is considered the brand's 'noble' chocolate range, widely used by professional pastry chefs and home bakers for ganaches, truffles, and desserts across Brazil and more than 30 other countries.
