Originally produced in London and later in Port Sunlight, UK, the manufacturing of Pears transitioned away from the United Kingdom in the late 20th century. Today, Pears is primarily manufactured in India by Hindustan Unilever for the global market, though some production also occurs in Saudi Arabia. Despite changes in its production location and occasional formula updates, the brand maintains its 200-year heritage as a gentle, dermatologist-recommended skin care product under the ownership of the multinational conglomerate Unilever.
