Bohin is an iconic French haberdashery brand with a heritage spanning nearly two centuries. Founded in 1833 by Benjamin Bohin in the Normandy region, the company has maintained its reputation for producing high-quality sewing needles and pins using traditional craftsmanship. Unlike many modern textile and tool manufacturers that have outsourced production to lower-cost regions, Bohin remains the last manufacturer of sewing needles in France, with its primary production facility still operating in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle.

Each Bohin needle undergoes a rigorous 27-stage manufacturing process, which includes multiple polishing steps to ensure a glass-like finish that glides smoothly through fabric. The brand has evolved through several family generations and a management buyout in 1997 that saved it from liquidation. Today, under the leadership of Audrey Régnier, who took over the company in 2018, Bohin continues to combine industrial precision with artistic design, offering a wide range of needles, pins, and sewing accessories to quilters and artisans worldwide.
