Warsteiner beer

Warsteiner is one of Germany’s most prestigious and historical beer brands, with a legacy dating back to 1753. Founded by farmer Antonius Cramer in the town of Warstein, the brand has remained under the ownership of the Cramer family for nine generations. The company is currently managed by Catharina Cramer, who took over leadership in 2012, continuing the tradition of brewing according to the German Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot).

The majority of Warsteiner's production takes place at the state-of-the-art Waldpark Brewery in Warstein, located within the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park. This facility is renowned for using soft brewing water from the local 'Kaiserquelle' spring. While the core products for international export are brewed and bottled in Germany, the brand also maintains licensed production agreements in various global markets to meet regional demand. Today, the parent company, known as the Haus Cramer Group, has expanded its portfolio to include other notable breweries and beverage brands, cementing its position as one of the largest privately-owned brewery groups in Germany.
