Frigor chocolate

Frigor is a historic Swiss chocolate brand known for its creamy praline filling. It was originally developed in 1923 by the confectioner Charles Panchaud for the Swiss chocolate company Cailler. Frigor is particularly famous for being one of the world's first filled chocolate bars, featuring a signature recipe of freshly roasted hazelnut and almond cream encased in milk or dark chocolate.

Today, Frigor remains a key brand within the Cailler portfolio, which is owned by the Swiss multinational Nestlé. The production of Frigor chocolate continues to take place at the historic Maison Cailler factory in Broc, Switzerland, which has been in operation since 1898. While Nestlé is a global corporation, the Frigor brand maintains its strong Swiss identity and traditional manufacturing roots within the Fribourg region.
