In 2000, the brand reached a major turning point when Block Drug was acquired by the British pharmaceutical giant SmithKline Beecham, which subsequently merged to form GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).

In July 2022, GSK underwent a significant corporate restructuring, spinning off its consumer healthcare division into a new independent company called Haleon plc. Recently, Haleon announced shifts in its European manufacturing footprint, moving more production to its state-of-the-art facility in Levice, Slovakia, as part of a strategy to optimize its global supply chain.
