The brand's history began in 1989 when the Jordan and Kerner families, who had been visiting the island since the 1970s, established their own estate in Plagia near Plomari. They initially produced oil for friends and family before growing into a commercial brand that serves gourmet chefs and high-end retailers.

The olives used, specifically the Kolovi and Adramitiani varieties, are harvested by hand and processed using modern extraction methods to maintain their nutritional integrity and characteristic mild, fruity flavor. While the cultivation and extraction take place in Greece, the business operations and headquarters are located in Solingen, Germany. The company remains an independent, family-run business led by Bastian Jordan, representing the third generation of the family's dedication to olive oil production.
