Hansgrohe is a prestigious German brand specializing in premium bathroom and kitchen fittings. Founded in 1901 by Hans Grohe in Schiltach, in the Black Forest region of Germany, the company has grown from a small metal pressing workshop into a global leader in sanitation technology. The brand is credited with several industry-firsts, including the first hand shower with multiple spray modes and the first shower rod.

Today, Hansgrohe operates as a Societas Europaea (SE) and is part of a larger corporate structure. While it retains its deep German roots and headquarters in Schiltach, the majority of the company (68%) has been owned by the American Masco Corporation since 2003, with the remaining 32% held by the Syngroh holding company of the Klaus Grohe family.

Manufacturing takes place across several global locations to serve international markets. While the primary production plants remain in Germany (specifically in Schiltach and Offenburg), Hansgrohe also operates manufacturing facilities in the United States, France, and China.
