Pepco is a major European discount retail chain that originated in Poland. The brand was established in 2004 after the South African investment company Pepkor acquired a small chain of stores in Poland and rebranded them. Over the following two decades, it evolved into one of the fastest-growing retailers in Central and Eastern Europe, specializing in affordable clothing and household goods.

Pepco's apparel, including its 'Pepco Baby' line of socks and children's wear, is primarily sourced through its vertically integrated global sourcing arm, Pepco Global Sourcing (PGS). This entity manages production through a network of suppliers across South and East Asia, with a significant portion of manufacturing occurring in China and other low-cost textile hubs. The brand is currently owned by Pepco Group N.V., which is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and headquartered in London, following a series of corporate restructurings involving its previous parent, Steinhoff International.
