The history of the business behind the brand, Australian Rainforest Honey Pty Ltd, dates back to the 1930s when it was founded by the Roberts family. After being held by the family for three generations, the company was briefly acquired by the agricultural conglomerate Webster Limited in 2017. Following a subsequent takeover of Webster by a Canadian pension fund, the honey business was carved out and is now owned by Joe Corrigan. Today, the brand manages thousands of beehives across pristine locations in New South Wales and Victoria, maintaining a vertically integrated 'hive to jar' production process.
