Jammie Dodgers are an iconic British biscuit known for their shortcake exterior and signature raspberry-flavoured jam centre. Originally invented in the 1960s by the Burton’s Biscuit Company, the brand is famously named after the character Roger the Dodger from The Beano comic series. Today, they are primarily manufactured at the Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC) factory in Llantarnam, South Wales, which produces billions of these biscuits annually.

The brand has undergone several ownership changes over the decades. After being owned by the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board for many years, it was acquired in June 2021 by a Belgian holding company, CTH Invest, which is closely affiliated with the Italian confectionery giant Ferrero SpA. In early 2022, Ferrero merged Burton’s Biscuit Company with Fox’s Biscuits to form Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC), which remains the second-largest sweet biscuit manufacturer in the UK as of 2026.
