Barcaffè is a premier coffee brand with a heritage spanning over five decades. Established on May 8, 1970, in the former Yugoslavia (modern-day Slovenia), it began at the Droga Portorož factory. Since its inception, the brand has become a cultural staple in Southeastern Europe, particularly known for its high-quality Turkish-style ground coffee and professional espresso blends served in thousands of Horeca facilities.

The brand's modern era began in 2010 when it was integrated into the portfolio of Atlantic Grupa, a major Croatian multinational. Today, Barcaffè is recognized for its commitment to quality and innovation, including sustainable initiatives like the Rainforest Alliance-certified Barcaffè Flora line.
