GoMore Car Sharing

GoMore is a leading European mobility platform specializing in peer-to-peer car sharing, ridesharing, and private car leasing. Founded in 2005 by Matias Dalsgaard and Søren Riis in Copenhagen, Denmark, the company initially launched as a ridesharing portal. Over the years, it evolved into a comprehensive car-sharing ecosystem that allows private individuals to rent out their vehicles to others, effectively reducing the number of cars on the road and promoting more sustainable urban transport.

In May 2026, GoMore significantly expanded its footprint by merging with Getaround Europe, a move that consolidated its position as the largest peer-to-peer car-sharing network in Europe. This merger integrated Getaround’s extensive operations in markets like France, Germany, and Belgium with GoMore’s dominant presence in the Nordics and Spain. The combined entity now serves over five million users across 11 countries, headquartered in Copenhagen under the leadership of founder Matias Møl Dalsgaard.
