Almhof Chocolade Mousse Original

Almhof is a prominent dairy brand primarily active in the Dutch market. While its name and branding are heavily inspired by the Alpine regions (Alm meaning alpine pasture and Hof meaning farm), the brand actually originated in the Netherlands in 1985. It quickly became a household name known for its high-quality yogurts, quarks, and desserts.

In 2004, the brand was acquired by the German dairy giant Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller. While many of Almhof's traditional dairy products are produced at the group's facilities in Germany (specifically Aretsried), this specific chocolate mousse is manufactured in Belgium. The company explicitly states that they leverage Belgian expertise and real Belgian chocolate to ensure the product's premium quality and authentic taste.

Today, Almhof remains a key part of the Müller Group's international portfolio, operating under the Müller Nederland subsidiary for the local market, while continuing to emphasize its heritage of using first-class ingredients without artificial additives.
