Clipper Pure Green Tea

Clipper is a pioneering British tea brand founded in 1984 by Mike and Lorraine Brehme in their kitchen in Beaminster, Dorset. The brand was established with a focus on ethical sourcing and natural products, eventually becoming the UK's first Fairtrade tea company in 1994.

While the raw tea leaves are sourced from various organic and Fairtrade estates in regions such as India and Africa, the final product is blended and packaged at Clipper's specialized factory in Beaminster, Dorset. This facility remains the primary manufacturing hub for the brand's global distribution.

Ownership of the brand transitioned from the founders to Fleming Family & Partners in 2007, before being acquired in 2012 by the Dutch health food company Royal Wessanen. In 2020, the parent company rebranded as Ecotone. Today, Clipper is a key brand within the Ecotone portfolio, which is headquartered in France and focused on organic and plant-based foods.
