DELTA Energie

DELTA Energie is a well-established Dutch energy provider primarily serving the Zeeland province. Originally part of the multi-utility company DELTA (formed in 1991 from a merger between WMZ and PZEM), the energy retail division was separated and sold to EQT Infrastructure in 2017. In March 2019, it was acquired by the Swedish energy giant Vattenfall.

Today, DELTA Energie continues to operate as an independent brand within the Vattenfall group, maintaining its local identity and headquarters in Middelburg. It focuses on providing green electricity and gas to residential and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) customers across the Netherlands. As a service provider, its 'manufacturing' or generation assets are integrated into the broader European energy grid, though the retail service itself is managed and delivered from the Netherlands.
