Tromborg is a premium Danish beauty brand founded in 2003 by Marianne Tromborg, along with Michael Wendt and Tim Schyberg. The brand is built on a philosophy of "Science Behind Beauty," merging natural, organic ingredients with advanced biochemical research. Marianne Tromborg, a professional makeup artist, sought to create a line that simplified beauty routines without compromising on quality or effectiveness.

All Tromborg skincare products are manufactured in their own private factory located in Denmark. This internal production model allows the brand to maintain total control over the manufacturing process, from initial research and laboratory development to the final packaging. By sourcing many ingredients locally and producing in-house, the brand emphasizes sustainability and high standards of Nordic craftsmanship.

The company remains a family-owned Danish enterprise. While it has expanded internationally into markets such as the United Kingdom and the Middle East, the core ownership and decision-making stay within the founding team. As of the current period, the brand continues to be operated by its original founders, maintaining its independent status in the luxury cosmetics industry.
