Torras Organic Bio chocolate

Torras is one of Spain's most historic and prestigious chocolate brands, with a legacy dating back to 1890. Founded by Dolors Torras in Banyoles, Girona, the company initially shared space with a paper mill before specializing entirely in chocolate production. Over the decades, it became a pioneer in the industry, particularly known for introducing the first sugar-free chocolate range in Spain and, more recently, leading the market with organic (Bio) and stevia-sweetened varieties.

Today, the brand is manufactured at its modern facility in Cornellá de Terri, Catalonia. While many independent traditional brands have been absorbed by global conglomerates, Torras remains a family-owned Spanish enterprise. In 1992, the company was acquired by a family from Mataró with a background in the textile industry, who revitalized the brand by focusing on innovation, health-conscious dietary needs (such as gluten-free and vegan options), and international export to over 60 countries.
