TinQ (often stylized as Tinq) is a prominent brand of unmanned fuel stations operating primarily in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The brand was originally launched in 2001 by Shell as a standalone discount formula for unmanned petrol stations to compete with other budget providers. The concept focused on providing high-quality fuel at lower prices by removing onsite staff and convenience stores.
In 2004, the brand was acquired by Enviem Holding, a Dutch multi-brand energy retailer. Under Enviem's ownership, TinQ expanded rapidly, acquiring additional sites from companies like Gulf and ANWB. Today, it stands as the market leader for unmanned fuel stations in the Netherlands with well over 400 locations. While the fuel itself is sourced from various global refineries, the service and brand operations are managed out of the Netherlands.
