Tento paper handkerchiefs

Tento is a Well-known brand of tissue products throughout Central and Eastern Europe, particularly recognized by its signature sheep mascot. Originally established in Slovakia, the brand's primary manufacturing hub remains the Žilina mill, which has a papermaking history dating back to 1905 and transitioned into tissue production in the early 1980s.

In 2006, the Tento company was acquired by the Finnish forestry giant Metsä Tissue, part of the Metsä Group. Under Finnish ownership, the brand has celebrated legacy milestones, such as its 30th anniversary in 2025, while expanding its distribution across Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. While the Žilina plant is the historical heart of Tento production, the parent company operates multiple paper mills across Europe, including in Poland, Finland, and Germany, to support its regional supply chains.
