Burrata itself is a specialty of the Puglia region, though Zanetti produces its modern range of fresh and aged cheeses across several facilities in northern Italy, including provinces like Bergamo, Brescia, and Mantua. The product is crafted from pasteurized cow’s milk and cream, following the authentic "pasta filata" technique where a mozzarella shell is filled with a soft, creamy center.
