Krombacher Brautradition beer

Krombacher Brautradition is a specialty line produced by the Krombacher Brauerei, one of Germany's most prominent private brewing companies. The brand's history dates back to February 4, 1803, when it was founded by Johannes Haas in the town of Krombach. The brewery was established to fulfill local regulations that required taverns to brew their own beer.

Today, the company remains a family-owned enterprise, with the Schadeberg family having held ownership since 1922. The beer is brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516, using local soft mineral water from the Krombacher Rock Spring. The brewery is located in Kreuztal-Krombach, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany, where the entirety of its production takes place.
