Água do Caramulo spring water

Água do Caramulo is a well-known Portuguese brand of spring water sourced from the Caramulo Mountain range (Serra do Caramulo) in the central part of the country. The water is captured at high altitudes in granite rock formations, which contributes to its low mineral content and near-neutral pH balance, making it a popular choice for daily consumption and infant care in Portugal.

Historically, the brand was a key part of the Super Bock Group’s portfolio. However, in 2019, the group announced the closure of the Caramulo production center due to market shifts. The brand was subsequently revitalized and is currently managed by Mountain Water – Comercialização de Água, S.A., which acquired the industrial unit and resumed operations with a focus on sustainability, including the use of recycled PET (rPET) in its packaging.
